The websitse I went into was www.teacher.scholastic.com . In this website I went under teacher resources and found an article Reading workshop: A look inside my classroom. This article is very interesting because it has alot of helpful tips. It has a reading workshop video. It also has many different kinds of mini lessons with an explanation of how this teacher usses it in their classroom. I learned that children need a lot of time to read, chart paper is a great way for students to sort out their ideas. I would like to learn more about mini-lessons.

The website that I visited was http://teachers.net/. This website has alot of information. This website has resources for each grade level. It also has free lesson plans by grade level, projects, and alot of articles. The article that I read is under the Harry and Rosemary articles and it is calledEffective Teaching. In this article I learned is to turn all classroom procedures into routines for students to follow and also to be consistent with them. For example, how to enter the classroom. Another technique that I learned by this article is that we can have hand signals like thumbs up if you understand problem, thumbs down if you don't understand. I would like to learn more on the hand signals that we can use in classroom.

It has student activities, teacher resources, pages for kids, parents, new teachers, administrators and even librarians. Under the section of strategies. In this section there are real teachers who share a couple of their strategies with us. The article I read was Back to the Basics: Explicit Routines and Procedures by Eric. In this article I learned that setting up routines and procedures reduces behavior problems. I would like to learn more on classroom management.

This is a very interesting website because it has lesson planning, professional development, integration of technology, and many other cool things. There was an article I read that was talking about eco-friendly school supplies. I learned on ways to help the environment using eco-friendly school supplies like using graphite #2 pencils and colored pencils. I also read a motivation tip that said that if a teacher is excited about what she is doing so will her students. I would like to learn more on more ways to help out the environmentl.

The website I visited was eutpia.org. In this website I read an article regarding to afterschool programs. It is a good website. It has tips for lesson planning, and managing the classroom. This website also has articles, videos and tips. I would like to learn more on what we can do for the education of our students.
